Who am I?
I’m Lars.
Online, I usually go by ‘Problemen’, unless someone has already taken that name and I have to make up some ‘xXPr0Bl3menXxNoScopexX’ nonsense. I do many things, but on the internet I’m often gaming or writing. I’ve been doing both since I was a kid, which eventually led to a short stint as a semi-professional gamer (which, back in the day, basically meant that I was paid around 20 dollars a month for pwning noobs) and an editor of our high school newspaper. These illustrious achievements were only the beginning of my career.
I kept writing (and gaming) and thanks to some incredibly lucky breaks, I managed to land some gigs as a columnist (I used to be the resident columnist for a pretty large Dutch website which has gone tits up since then for some reason) and freelance writer/translator early on in my career. That got the ball rolling, and now I’m in a position where I can say that my work and content has been read and seen by a good number of people.
I don’t only write, though. In my main job I also handle things like management and other non-creative work, but I mostly made this website for the creative side of things. You can check out the more corporate stuff on LinkedIn.
